TAMPA - Today's temperatures likely will be the coldest in more than a year.

The low in Tampa is expected to be 34 degrees. The city hasn't had temperatures that low since it was 31 degrees on Jan. 13, 2011.

Between 4 and 8 a.m. today, Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk counties will see temperatures in the lower 30s, said meteorologist Rick Davis with the National Weather Service. It might even get as cold as the upper 20s in northern Pasco County.

Freeze warnings are in effect for Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk.

There also are wind chill advisories for the entire Tampa Bay area. It will feel like the lower to mid-20s in Hillsborough, Polk and Pasco and about 30 degrees in Pinellas and elsewhere near the coast.
