Lakeland police arrest two robbery suspects

Lakeland police have arrested two suspects wanted in armed robberies.

Bill Curtis Cox, 35, was arrested about 11 p.m. Wednesday. Christopher Luis Morales, 18, also has been arrested, police said today.

Police said Morales and Cox were suspects in an armed robbery Monday at Hess Express, 3117 S. Florida Ave., Lakeland.

Cox was also wanted for an armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm in incidents Jan. 30 at a Subway, 125 N Wabash Ave., and Walmart, 3501 S. Florida Ave.

Both are also suspects of crimes in other jurisdictions, police said.
