Elephants are renowned for their memories, but how are they as football prognosticators? We'll know after the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Lowry Park Zoo had Tamani, a 6-year-old male African elephant, choose between two watermelons painted in New York Giants and New England Patriots colors by Zoo School preschool students.

Tamani immediately smashed and devoured the Patriots melon, a sign that zoo officials think means he's predicting a Giants win.

Tamani's mother, Ellie, also shook her head yes when asked if the Giants would win, zoo officials said.

Does Tamani have the nose for football picks? We'll know soon enough.
